What skin disorders would prevent a facial being done?

I am a beauty student and need to know if i can perform a facial on the following skin conditions:


albinism,boils,chloasma,hyper keratosis,melanoderma,lentigines,pseudo folliculitis,oedema,port wine stain,spider naevus,seborrhoea.

What skin disorders would prevent a facial being done?
Albinism sounds like when someone is an albino- so i think thats ok. Boils are heated, pus-filled bunps on the skin, so you can't put a facial on that! folliculitis sounds like in fected hair follicles, and seborrhoea sounds like a dandruff or hair related condition.
Reply:I'm thinking boils would be one... they are puss filled sacks on the skin (not like pimples, but I could be wrong). Try wikipedia and look each up for a deffinition (and maybe a photographic example)

Reply:I learnt beauty therapy at college. Here is a list of those conditions that you should not perform a facial on:


impetigo, conjunctivitis, styes (infection of sebaceous glands), boils.


Albinism, chloasmata (liver spots), lentigines, port wine stain, seborrhoea spider naevi are fine for treatment.


Oederma - should check with their doctor first.
