What kind of makeup covers redness, but not your whole face?

I have keratosis Polaris, which would be somewhat similar to roscha (spelling?). I have this green stuff that I put on, but then I have to cover it will a ton of foundation. Is there anything that will minimize the redness, but not my freckles, or my entire face?

What kind of makeup covers redness, but not your whole face?
Use a concealer with a slightly yellow base (yellow neutralizes red), or try a product designed to neutralize red. Prescriptives has a product called Magic Liquid Powder and it comes in a shade to neutralize redness and it is very very lightweight.

PS- I dont want to sound like I am pushing a brand or anything (but they do make good products), but Prescriptives also makes a product called Redness Relief Gel and it was created by a dermatologist for problems such as yours. It will actually help to take the redness away over time so you wont have to cover it up as much! :)
Reply:you are putting too much of the green on, try using a green cover stick on the bits you need to, not everywhere.
Reply:Try Bare Minerals makeup
Reply:I have heard great things about i.d. bareMinerals. A girlfriend of mine uses it and I tried it this weekend. It is a mineral powder that has a foundation finish to it. I used it on my cheeks before going out for the evening, because I get flushed red cheeks. It covered very well, and stayed on all evening with no touch ups.
Reply:Don't use so much. You need to just DOT it on.
Reply:Try Magic Powder form Prescriptives

Rosacea
Reply:There are new moisturizing products designed to reduce the redness on your cheeks (it takes about four weeks to take effect). See the link below for a product by Eucerin. Then, try using a green-toned powder (loose will offer more coverage than pressed, but both will be more sheer than foundation or concealer) like the ones by Physicians Formula.
Reply:Try benefit's You're Bluffing. There's some great reviews from users.
Reply:Bah, I sympathise, I have seriously sensitive skin that gets ridiculously red too. I don't use anything for it, but about a week ago, I came upon a product review in a community I'm in on livejournal (the link's listed below in the sources bit) for a green toned primer called "Color Me Beautiful Mint Color Adjustor (Green Primer)". It's available at ulta.com for $16. The original poster also recommends Laneige's "Clear-Fitting Base in Green", but says it's tough to find in retail stores as it's a Korean brand. Anyway, go read the thread if you're curious, and I hope I've helped!

And its spelled "Keratosis Pilaris". :)
