A Guy's Opinion...?

How much does a guy really care about how smooth a girl's skin is? Because I have this skin thing called keratosis pilaris where my skin is just kinda bumpy everywhere and I'm still trying to figure out how to get rid of it.

A Guy's Opinion...?
If a man likes you for who you are and what you stand for, then your skin being a little rough should have no bearing on how much he cares about you. And if it did, he's a very shallow person.
Reply:Thank you dear. Report It

Reply:shouldnt matter at all..he should like you for who u are..
Reply:This would vary from guy to guy, but personally if I had strong enough feelings to begin with, something as trivial as how your skin is wouldn't bother me one bit.
Reply:Guys usually care if bout how smooth a girl's skin is.

Its a turn of =)
Reply:I don't want to seem like a jerk, but you should try and get it taken care of before you go for a guy. However if a guy likes you and doesn't mind the skin, and you like him a lot, perfect match.
Reply:It doesn't make that much difference...afterall, beauty is only skin deep.
Reply:Smooth skin is certainly nice and it's a turn on, but . . . if you have a condition that prevents you from having it, then the guy needs to understand. Now that you mention it, I seem to recall having dated a girl about 20 years ago that had this condition on her legs and arms . . . it really wasn't that big of a deal to me.
Reply:You want a guy's opinion, so here is my opinion: Girls who are narcassists and are obssesed with their bodies are a pain in the butt. Eventually, you grow to dislike them only because they have obssesive compulsive disorder when it comes to their bodies. Yes, smooth skin is the best, and I can not stand rough skin. However, do not, as I mentioned, show this obssesiveness about your body. He will most likely not like it.
Reply:well your skin would have to be really rough for me to care much about that . as for how to fix that follow up with your doctor.

nice complexion skin fits in there someplace on my list of things i like about the girl but it sure isnt at the top never really gave it too much thought .
Reply:Depends on how bumpy. If it's like monsterous deformed bumps, yeah that'd be a little weird. Some small bumps? Not an issue.
Reply:I dont think smooth skin is really all that important, although it is sexy of course, but if skin is not super smooth, I think that is fine, but this whole bumpy skin business seems alittle unapealling, is it really that bad?, if it is like a rash, that would kinda suck.
Reply:I love my girlfiriends smooth skin. it's so feminine and a turn on. I don't think he cares much about your condition. It's not a priority. Just a plus.
Reply:First of all - get your doctor to refer you to a good dermatologist. I believe that a dermatologist may be able to treat your condition with medication. You may also want to look into alternative medication like acupuncture and Chinese herbal remedies.

Next you have a skin condition that I believe is treatable so let's just forget about that and focus on the real you.

I have been fortunate in my life to have loved many women with all my heart and soul each was unique and different in her own way, each special, each self aware, self confident, each aware of her own sexuality, and all very intelligent loving human beings who loved life and living. Calli had lost her left arm as a child, and she danced like and angle.

Bianca was a brilliant artist and horsewoman, she was horribly burned over 40 % of her body trying to save her horses from a stable fire when she was 15.

Shelia a beautiful photo journalist suffered from Toureet's Syndrome,

None of these women were handicapped, or disabled, or even "differently-abled" they were so

intune with themselves, so in love with life, that they could not be anything but beautiful.

So now to you my dear. You are young, sensitive, and on your way to becoming a beautiul young woman. But you have come to equate external physical beauty with true beauty - which is a shabby substitute for the real thng.

Have you ever seen what the reall Hollywood stars look like without their professional makeup on? It's amazing what these make up people can do, and then the studios further enhance the beauty with digital programs they can literally make the footbal captain into the prom queen.

Not that looks aren't important, of course they are, so is good health, hygene, and gooming. But what makes a person shine usually comes from inside - a sense of pride, a sense of accomplishment, of self worth, of decentcy, of being true to ones self, of knowing that you have been fair and honest with others, basically it's called goodness or purity, (nothing to do with sex), it's a solid honest feminie thing that men NEED . So do NOT let one small drop of rain spoil your parade. Focus on your sense of humor, the softnes and hi-lites of your hair. The sparkle of your eyes. Your perfect smile, Your other womanly wiles. Play up your good points little sister.
Reply:Girls with bumpy skin make great sand paper, nothing else.
