Ok, so I need makeup help..?

My problem is I have keratosis pilaris (chicken skin) on my face, which makes my face bumpy and bright red. So I need a coverup that is natural but covers it up so its smooth. I also need some concealer for under eye circles, and a pretty light mascara. Bare in mind I am young, please any help? Thanks.

I like covergirl foundations. I also have dark eye circles. It doesn't really matter what brand, but make sure that you go a tone lighter than your skin tone. Once you put a light coat on, cover it with a sheer powder. For the mascara, you could go with a brown color.
Reply:I'd use Maybelline cover-up, the liquid kind. it's available for pretty cheap, anywhere. The grocery store like Shoprite or Publix, or drugstore like Walgreens or CVS.

Good luck!
Reply:A good foundation and concealer that i use is by smashbox. The liquid foundation works really well and the concealer does too for under eye circles. the best mascara I have used is by Shiseido.
Reply:Have you asked your dermatologist what you can do to fix this skin condition without makeup? You may need to control it using medicated creams and such. But if you're looking for a concealer, I love Makeup Forever's cream concealer (found at Sephora stores). Tinted moisturizer is also nice, or you can try Benefit's industrial strength concealer.

I think you should talk to a dermatologist about what can be done. There may be a solution to this problem that will be a lot more beneficial for your skin than make up and fix it in the long run.
Reply:I would try Bare Ecsentuals. It is very light, but gives good coverage. I have had good luck with it and it comes in lots of colors. I'm afraid a liquid make up would crack and look fake on your skin. I really like the mineral veil that smooths everything out and it doesn't seem to settle or crack where skin is uneven. I don't know if they have a good concealer or not. In all actuality, I have never found a concealer that actually works. I have "racoon" eyes and have just learned to live with them.
