What do you use for your keratosis pilaris?
I don't know about those masks, but I know something that works without fail. Use a moisturizer with lactic acid or urea. Usually, this is found in heavy duty moisturizers. Suave has an intense moisturizer with it. Eurecin also has a smaller bottle. You should apply this to the area once or twice a day, especially after taking a shower when your skin is most vulnerable. Also, exfoliate with a shower puff in the shower. It will rub away the dead skin that can plug up pores and will make your skin more receptive to the moisturizer. Just make sure you continue using the moisturizer. The keratosis pilaris will return when you cease moisturizing.
Reply:Prescription medicines that may help include antibiotics (Erythromycin, Bactrim) if the spots are very red and Tazorac Cream. Tazorac, a relative of vitamin A, may cause irritation in some people.
There is also a lotion called Glytone.
